Oris introduces the Big Crown x Cervo Volante, a pilot’s watch that embodies the brand’s Change for the Better mission. This 38mm stainless steel timepiece combines Oris’ craftsmanship with sustainability, featuring a strap made from sustainably sourced deer leather and a green dial inspired by the natural beauty of the Swiss Alps.
In collaboration with Cervo Volante, known for crafting accessories from natural deer leather, Oris transforms otherwise unused deer skins into elegant watch straps. Every year, approximately 15,000 wild red deer are culled in Switzerland for population control, and Cervo Volante ensures these skins are given a second life.
The watch is powered by the automatic Calibre 754, delivering a 38-hour power reserve, centre hands for hours, minutes, and seconds, a date centre hand, and fine timing functions. Its multi-piece stainless steel case features a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating and a see-through mineral glass case back, water-resistant to 5 bar / 50 meters.
Finished with a leather strap, a special presentation box, and a certificate, the Big Crown x Cervo Volante is a perfect blend of elegance, functionality, and sustainability.
